Can anyone get NaviExtras to do anything. Obviously, if you have a lot of additional content such as extra maps etc.

There is an option to backup the map on the Infotainment unit but if you plug a USB cable into it and into a PC NaviExtras doesn't recognize the device.

Each backup is stored in the iGO data folder on your PC. When I click on login it tells me to insert a device which I already did but is not recognized.

Find all posts by wlibert. I can't get mine to recognize a Toolboxx key. You CAN name the backup anything you want, but it is best to leave it at the default value.
Doing a backup only takes a short while usually around minutesand naviextras Toolbox will automatically prompt you to do a backup immediately prior to doing any updates to your Navigator. The following errors occurred with your submission. Typically, this is done prior to doing updates of content on your Navigator using naviextras.
The Creating Backup window will open.
